New Play Reading Series (Virtual)

Each year, the Pittsburgh New Works Festival receives hundreds of new plays that eventually get narrowed down and are produced after rounds of critique, scoring and board review.

The production companies select these plays from a pool of finalists. We thought it was only right for those plays that were deemed worthy of production but were just not selected by a company to get their chance to be performed by some fantastic local actors. This also gives the playwrights an opportunity to hear their work performed for an audience and gather some feedback.
