Accessibility at New Works
The Pittsburgh New Works Festival strives to make our events welcoming to everyone. In that spirit, accessibility is a focus for our organization. If we can do anything to help you more fully participate in our events and programs, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 412-944-2639.
All doors at Carnegie Stage are ADA compliant. Most are kept propped open during performances for even easier access for our guests.
Restrooms are located on the first floor. All restrooms are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs. A private restroom is also available. Please see any front of house staff for assistance.
Accessible Seating for Performances
Both transfer and removal seats are available to our patrons.
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices are available for use free of charge for all performances. Please inquire at the box office.
Accessible Final Dress Rehearsals
Pittsburgh New Works believes that theatre is for everyone. The final dress rehearsals of our mainstage shows are open to the public and feature American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and live audio description for our guests.
