Pittsburgh New Works Festival (PNWF) is dedicated to fostering the development of original one-act plays. PNWF is an annual event. Each September, selected new one-act plays are produced by Pittsburgh region theater companies during the festival.

Mission Statement 

The Pittsburgh New Works Festival (PNWF) supports and encourages the writing and production of new one-act plays by bringing together the rich resources and expertise of western Pennsylvania’s theatre community in a series of collaborative activities. We strive for diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the theatre experience: playwrights, performers, crew, Board, and audience members.

Cost: The cost is $17( advance) or $20(door)  for a single ticket per performance or $60 for a festival pass.
